In the first days of Autumn, messengers are sent out to the courts of southern and central Albion. Clad in the colours of the Temple of the One God and a diplomatic flag they seek audience with the rulers of the lands and it's faiths. The message they all carry is the following: To the Wise and Mighty of Albion, The events of this summer have caused great tribulation to the people of the land and consternation to its rulers. Wise landed rulers have suggested a meeting between the faiths on the current events and consequences of religious strife, there is much wisdom in this. The Temple of the One God asks for a meeting between the faiths of the One God, the Old Faith and Natures Soft Embrace to speak upon their relations and to reach an accord between ourselves. I fully welcome observers from the varied realms to join this conclave. We would also invite Camelot to join the gathering so a diplomatic resolution may be sought between themselves, the Old Faith and our temple on the situation in Elmet. Archpriest Maelgwyn ap Cadwgan, Temple of the One God in Albion. (OOC: Depending on a rules question TOG can host a court session for the Old Faith The Old Religion(Meron) , NSE, Camelot X Glendall Pendragon (Camelot) and one other. I would like to include more yet am limited, so if others wish to be present to 'observe' or perform actual diplomacy you are very welcome.) Edit: I invite NSE, Old Faith and Camelot at the basis. I can furthermore provide room for 3-4 more parties if they would like to actively join the diplomacy.)

A ranger from north arrive at the Monastery in Camelot. His clothes are simple but protects him from the worst of the elements. The dirt on his clothes, his long bushy hair and wild growing eyebrows make him look somewhat like a hermit unflustered by the need to groom. In contrast his horse looks like it is cared for and groomed more than the kings own horses.
With him he carries a piece of blood stained cloth wrapped around something roughly the size of a big fist. The parcel is held closed with homemade string. At the gate he present himself: "I am Dubhghall Buideach. Representative of both Lothia and those who see the divine in the violence of nature. I thank your master for the invitation. And is requesting a seat at the table regarding the debate on religious strife." He pats the parcel gently. "I also have a present for your master, the lord of this fort."
(OOC: They seem to not care about being formally invited)

A messenger from Caerleon indicates that they would like to send an observer.
OOC: You can drop regent actions to gain court actions at a 2:1 benefit. Also if you have Diplomacy as a bonus action you can use it as a bonus action to invite 1 person, and then you can spend Court actions for extra people (rather than a Diplomacy and a Court for the 1st person and then extra Court for extra people).

An elderly druid clad in red earth tones arrives from the east, followed by a ranger, wearing a simple garb but with half-long, well kept hair usually seen amongst the nobility. Despite his old looks the elderly druid walks steadily without the need of a cane.
"I am Lugh, son of Lloyd. Representative of Grenndal le Fay, speaker of the gods," he introduces himself while showing a sealed letter marked with the insignia of the old religion. "His holiness noticed a lack of armistice in your emissary's words and sent me in case he is needed in the war efforts."

"As the Temple of the One God has not taken any action against the Old Faith, I did not presume Grendall saw us as actually at war. The Temple of the One God has been kind enough to consider the occupation of its holdings as an unfortunate mistake on the Old Faiths part. However, if your lord wishes to declare war -I will gladly offer him an armistice." After the previous, slowly spoken for effect, Maelgwyn looks weary."Lugh, son of Lloyd, you are most welcome at this meeting yet, I again extend my invitation towards Grendall. His personal involvement is desirable for these talks to proceed, to many mistakes have happened on account of false or mistaken information. I have invited both King Glendall and Highpriest Grendall to this location explicitly for the reason of making sure this does not dissolve into an actual civil war. There have been to many needless deaths already." The Archpriest then smiles and it seems the weariness disappears as smoke in a breeze."It has been two seasons since a druid of your stature has visited these halls. I hope you will allow me the pleasure of discussing matters of the world with you some evening?" ---- "Representative of Caerleon, you are very welcome." (OOC: I intend to use my bonus diplomacy plus extra court actions.) ---- "Dubhghall Buideach, the men of Lothia are not known for their tact but perhaps you can understand the following. Your lord and Highpriest is currently in the field, opposing King Glendall and our Temple forces, and his actions indeed a direct cause for talks of this kind. If you have anything to deliver, you may do so, I am currently not inclined to alow you presence at my table." Linde (x-GM) Can we have a court session thread so the two negotiations do not get mixed up?

Lord Protector Hunriel P'teen sends word that he would also join, with the intent of acting as a mediator between ToG, Camelot and ToR. In this role he would partly represent NSE, in the favor of lasting peace, but neutral towards the feuding parties. He would not presume to represent NSE in intra-religious matters. If the parties would accept him as a mediator that is.

"I am fully aware of the situation. And as he is the cause of the coming talks it stands to reason they will be most fruitful if he is represented" Dubhghall carefully unwrap the parcel revealing the cloth to be the battle torn clothing of a knight of the militant order. Inside a fresh heart is revealed. "My lord and Highpriest offer you the heart of his first slain enemy in the battle in Benicia. We know it is not your custom to eat the hearts of the fallen, but take it as an honor that it was saved for you, and treat it according to your customs."

Unable to hold himself back any longer the ranger accompanying the druid exclaims: "Liar!" Lugh sends him a stern look, but the young man takes no heed. "I was there!" He yells while pointing at himself. Eying the archprist with anger burning in his eyes. "I was there when the knights came, flying the banner of the one god. I was there when they started attacking the innocent people of Elmet." His voice becomes softer as if he is reliving the memories. "We prayed to the gods, even those not associated with warfare, and then we heard it. The roars of the bears, the howls of the wolves, the creaks of the treants, the stomps of the puccas. The entirety of this divinely bestowed army was led by Grendall the Liberator, and we knew the gods had heard our calls"

The Archpriest his face becomes a mask of stone at the occurences. He turns slightly and motions a page over.
"Please take the cloth and its contents. Have it brought to the inner chapel and have word spread we will be performing a night mass."
Looking back at the Temple of Blood representative he proceeds to speak to him and then walks past him to the Old Faith delegation.
"Dubhghall Buideach, I will accept this. In due time we may repay the Highpriest for his ..kind offer. You may enter the outer fortress and may observe, however, unless both other Highpriests ask for it, you are not invited to speak in the formal proceedings."
With the same expression Maelgwyn then proceeds with the following, adressed to the delegation:
"Young man, we have a vast library where you may read about the differences between the disparate followers of seemingly simililar faiths." At the last he motions a hand from Dubhghall to Lugh. "The knights present in Elmet were not members of the Temple of the One God here in Albion, but Hibernian. I would be very careful with your accusations. Though they may be based on ignorance, for which you are forgiven, ignorance has been the cause for the many a war and the fall civilizations. It leads to baseless accusations built upon anger and a lack of knowledge the workings of the world."
"It is for exactly this reason I wish the talks between Camelot and the Old Faith to be between the two, King and Highpriest, whose fate seems to be intertwined. Lugh, representative of Highpriest Grendall, you are most welcome and I humbly ask you arrange for my simple wish to be communicated to the Highpriest."

“I understand …you prefer make a conclave to discuss with all people … but not with a temple … in order to create a coalition against the Absentee.” I am Messire de Malvoisin and I will be observer in the name of the Kingdom of Bayard.

"Messire de Malvoisin, though I do not need to respond to such petty remarks, I shall deem them worthy of my time nevertheless."
"The goal of the conclave is to speak on the stability of southern Albion. Firstly, the possibility of an accord between the southern Temples to prevent any faith of using military force against anothers holdings. Secondly, to hear the opinions of the highpriests of the other Faiths on the recent actions of the Temple of Blood."
"As your own country was instrumental at the root of the current troubles, and your King heavily under the Temple of Blood's sway, one cannot be suprised at your wish to cause dissent here. In fact, you merely make the case against the Temple of Bloods influence stronger."
"I will remind you of one thing out of courtesy, to pass along to your King, regardless of the lack of such by Bayard towards myself. Though Warlord Karl Morrow might be the first Highpriest Jorn Morrow betrayed, murdered and usurped, only a fool thinks he will be the last."
"Messire de Malvoisin, you are welcome to observe."

After contemplating the words of the Archpriest, Lugh turns towards his guide. "Sir Owen, will you be so kind to fetch me my quill and some parchment," he turns towards the archpriest. "I shall recount your proclamation of innocence to the high priest." "Your words do not seem to be spoken in deception, so I hope this entire..." "Although his promises ring hollow," Sir Owen interrupts, while slamming parchment and writing implements down on the table. "What good is a peace, when he can merely proclaim innocence, by using a different branch of his temple as the attack dog?" Lugh looks disturbed while contemplating the young man's words. "I apologize for my guide's brazen behaviour," he speaks softly. "But his question does contain wisdom. Will the one gods slavers be present at the conclave?"
He writes his letter and seals it, marking the wax with his ring.
"Nevertheless I have explained your position to his holiness," he says while handing the archpriest the letter.
