With Nemeth liberated, King Alden is swift to call upon the nobles of Nemeth and Helna to a gathering to discuss recent events and decide upon the course of action for the future. The invitations are received positively since they mean King Alden is living up to previous promises of gathering the nobles during spring (it also helps that Nemeth is free of enemy combatants). There is an air of excitement, and people agree that the agenda for the gathering must at least contain the following: - Vassal agreement with Camelot - Peace with Gawant as negotiated by Camelot in return for oath of vassalage - Prince Uther and the question of succession and leadership. - The Incursion by Lord Laemir
While the debates are private, the results and decisions made are sure to be made public far and wide by decree (and the unavoidable rumors).

Rumors are that former king Dunbar has shown up and is strongly advocating that Uther not only be crowned king immediately, but also that Nemeth troops should be deployed to Tir Mor post haste to extract revenge upon Lord Laemir and recover anything stolen. The war weary nobles however are quick to dismiss any more war or talk of war. There also seems to be consensus that the old king Dunbar would never have suggested such drastic measures, preferring the diplomatic approach.

In the middle of the deliberations, King Alden receives word from Prince Uther and Oran Scrivener that he should head to Camelot post haste. In his absence, Dunbar shows why he was previously named the king of Nemeth, and assumes leadership of the conclave through diplomacy and a gifted tongue. Word is that even the people who were doubting if Dunbar was truly back must admit that it seems like it is indeed him.
