With a grim face Jorn Morrow is sitting with a letter in his hands.
"We don't know if it is true your holiness, it is unsigned." An acolyte caution the high warlord.
Morrow let his eyes glide over the writing again. Still silent he place the letter on a small table and stand up and pace around thoughtfully.
Still pacing he start thinking out loud: "Whether true or false, the letter it is self serving at the very least. So, what is there to gain in the destruction of Bayard. Nothing will be left, so it is not expansion. What has Godfred done to merit such a reaction. He has done something. But has he done so in my support, is he defying me, or are his actions irrelevant? If his actions are irrelevant or in my support, then he has more enemies than he thinks and need my aid. My price is and has always been lives. Is he defying me the cost is lives. So no matter what we can start killing them and is he supporting me or was his actions irrelevant, then he would have paid for my aid up front. And is he opposing me it will be so much easier to destroy his lands..."
He stops pacing and turns to the acolyte: "Galen. Inform King Thraw that we will destroy Deira to fuel the birth of the new future and tell him it would be prudent to relocate his capital to Reched. Bring me his response, but gauge his reactions and bring me word of how he feels about my plan to lay waste to his capital. Don't take action against him if you think he has betrayed me, I will claim that heart myself if it has lost its zealous spark."

OOC. So does that fact that this is posted on the forum, mean that word leaks out and we know of this IC?

People start dying as flies in Aclud as the horrible plague ravages the province. The Lothians are readily told that this is vile Aelven magic, and they can die comforted in knowing that their corpses will join the war with renewed vigor and keep the fight going until revenge has been had.
