Flavour question:
What is the souce of bloodlines and their strenght in Albion since presumably it's not exploding gods like in the Birthright setting? My personal guess is some combination of ancient noble houses and people endowered with a powerful fate (which would probably be how the noble houses started. Is that about right?

Aliens: Not at all.
The source of bloodlines is a mystery to most. The most common conception is that - since most scions are noble - it is proof of a divinely sanction of the feudal system. Masters in the art of heraldry somtime run into conundrums when a commoner is chosen via lands choice, mostly they find a connection to nobility of some sort, but sometimes they have to abandon those ties and go with the more pragmatic view of: "Most worthy in the eyes of the gods."
Bloodtheft is a proven concept, that seldom occur on Albion outside the lands that worship the temple of blood, and when it does it mostly result in more conflict than it resolve.
The view that bloodlines is an expression of a persons fate or destiny is also a fairly common conception.
For more information you can research the subject in game.

God, of Course, is the source of everything. Anyone saying other thingie, please, contact the local Inquisitor for a very warm welcome and a heated debate. Very heated.
PS: Bring your own pile of wood, please, is not like it grows on the trees..,)

Good thing we got that cleared up, I really expected that to be harder.

God works in mysterious ways.
I think God recognizes the true power of Glendall, and want Grendall to be a worthy challenge.
Just imagine how disappointing my ballade about this epic contest for the throne of Camelot would be, if they weren't worthy challengers.
"Glendall faced Grendall at the first light of dawn, but Grendall was inept, so Glendall proceeded to yawn.
'Noo!' shouted Grendall, 'Let the bards have their day.' but Glendall cut him down, whilst saying: 'No way'"
Not one for the history books, right?
So let's rejoice in the wisdom of God.

I'd rather have a voluptuous ballad than a concise one.
In my experience people don't pay much for the short told truth.

The truth tends to pay in the legal tender of a knife in the kidneys.

Placing a question here that I found in the chat as it is related to bloodlines:
Q: If I have an AA with a bloodline, can I direct how he should spend his regency: A: NO. your AA's will manage their own regency.
