Considering supply/foraging has been raised.
Regents guide Pg 203
Supplies: Ships can also be used to keep units in supplies in lieu of ordinary supply lines. Each war move, a ship can carry as many GBs worth supplies according to its cargo capacity over a number of sea areas equal to its capacity. If the ship has to move further, the amount of supplies it can transport will decrease accordingly (i.e. double distance, half capacity).

For the ocean you need naval units to haul supplies (naval levies are excellent for this). Each GB worth of cargo capacity can sustain two GB worth of upkeep, assuming that the ship only has to cross a single naval region. If it has to go further reduce its capacity accordingly.
Assume you are the Hibernian Slavers (court province Venicnii) supplying an army in Nemeth. That's 6 sea zones.
Under pg 203 rules the basic ship (capacity 2) can carry 2GB worth of supplies across 2 sea zones. As the distance covered is triple capacity the supplies carried become 2/3GB (1/3 x 2GB).
Under pg 183 rules the basic ship (capacity 2) can carry 4GB worth of supplies across 1 sea zone. As the distance covered is six times basic the supplies carried become 2/3 (1/6 x 4GB).
Which rules are we using for naval supply?
