While war continues to rage in the North, and the seas are as embroiled in chaos as ever, throughout the realm of the Southwestern Traders, Guilders are given instructions to issue the decree sent to them during the fall.
Early in the winter, throughout the lands, the decree is heard from town criers:
From the Illustrious Halls of the Southwestern Traders,
To the Gentry of Albion, their Noble Rulers, and Exalted Leaders.
Let it be known that the Southwestern Traders will host the courts of the Southwest of Albion to sign treaties, old and new, that the Southern and Western Traders have sought in their time; That such treaties will manifest in a united fleet to thwart raiders and invaders from the shores of Southwest Albion, and the recognition of the joinder of two great guilds throughout Albion’s noble kingdoms, such that trade and prosperity may thrive once more, as it once did under the reign of King Arthur.
To honor these treaties, The Southwestern Traders hereby extends an invitation to a Grand Winter Ball at our court in Dumonia. Cast aside the cold, dull cloak of darkness upon your soul and be invigorated by the warmth of music, good company, and a feast to remember.
Let the birds of armistice, peace and cooperation give us all a brief respite with this common celebration.
With the utmost humility, Grand Admiral Aethor of Helna, Regent of the Southwestern Traders.

All other realms are invited to the Winter Ball (free action to attend, per Linde)
ST should henceforth be referred to as Southwestern Traders

Rumors are abound that some nobles see the name change and the wording of the invitation as an attempt to run from already established treaties. Swift dispatches potentially could assure them this is not the case.

“Commodore,” the merchant stated “These are the rumours I’ve heard in the docks of Nemeth.”
“Nowhere else then?” Victor responded “Very well, we shall treat them as such. No reason to respond to such baseless gossip.”
“Are you sure?” The merchant replied “Shouldn’t we do something?”
“Does a newly married woman declare that she will stand by the oaths she just swore? Has a man who went by another name ever managed to avoid debts owed to us? No.” Victor declared, “Besides, I highly doubt the Queen of Nemeth would be so improper so as to throw yet another insult against the Guild or its regent. After all the aid and investment we’ve made in Nemeth, I doubt she’d forget such etiquette.”
“Besides,” Victor finished “She and her court will be here sooner than our dispatch would make its way to Nemeth. If there is a matter to discuss, we can handle it then, before all the noble lords for whom the Guild gives service to.”
