Messengers carrying the banner of The old Religion arrive to the guild halls of the Eastern ( Eastern Traders) and Southern Traders ( SouthWestern Traders) seeking audience. They recite the following message: Venerable guild masters. The war against the vile slavers of the one god has left many orphans on the Isle of Man. Either through the senseless slaughter or enslavement of their parents. His holiness will provide temporary housing in Dumonia and Mercia, but need sailors willing to provide the transports. His holiness will provide recompensation for the hire of these ships.

At the docks in Dumonia, close to the court of the Southern Traders, Acting-Commodore Victor gathered up the crew and captain of Aspiration, as well as any fisherman, merchant or guilder who had heard and heeded the call of the Old Religion. At the very least, he expected a couple of the guild’s merchant vessels from Nemeth and Helna to join him, but even if they didn’t, Aspiration was a suitable ship to conduct at least the smallest of rescue operations.
Victor then spoke to those assembled before him, “Aethor has personally appointed me to be in charge of this mission. Captain Caedan will be leading Aspiration, while I will be in charge of logistics and mission objectives.”
He then described the basics of their task, “Our mission is simple. We are to rescue as many refugees as we can. We will be rescuing orphans first, women and children second, and men last.” There was a slight pause, before he continued “Naturally, you all expect to be paid. As luck would have it, these refugees have a benefactor - the Old Religion in Dumonia. They will also be receiving our refugees. The guild will not be paying you for these services, so you will have to address the faithful here in Dumonia yourself, when you bring the refugees back.”
“Though this mission is not secret, we have received two additional orders from Aethor. Keep a low profile, and avoid any hostile engagements. This is not a patrol and it is not a raid. We will make our approach at the break of dawn, and leave as soon as the ships are filled. Keep a close eye on any hostile forces, and if they engage, you are to retreat immediately, understood?”
On some level, Victor was somewhat ruthless, and his voice hardly shook or trembled as he continued to speak “You should know, some people will be left behind to die or be captured. We cannot save them all, but we'll save those we can.”
In closing, Victor addressed potential concerns from the merchants in particular, “Finally, this is not a leidang. If you join this mission, you do so voluntarily, you remain in command of your vessel and when the mission is over, you are free to immediately return to attend to your personal business.”
Those who knew Victor and the crew of Aspiration likewise knew that they would certainly look the other way if some richer folk on the Isle of Man were to bribe their way onboard.

I will happily build and provide housing at Island of man, this means both shelter and protection for the refuges, if it will help with logistic. Further I can find work for the refuges in my guild as fisher, farmers and craftsmen i they desire.

Aethor was back at court when Aspiration made its return to port. Onboard were the orphans and refugees from the Isle of Man that the ship had been able to rescue. Destined for the sanctuary provided by the Old Religion, they would be safe here. The crew and captain were a tired lot, having sailed and worked for weeks to keep the refugees safe, warm and fed - or at least, as much as that was possible onboard a ship at sea. The only man who still seemed on top of things was Acting-Commodore Victor, and his task had not been an easy one.
Many other refugees had merely been brought to Caerleon, and left to fend for themselves - some fleeing as far as Essetir.
“You’ve outdone yourself, Victor.” Aethor said, as he greeted the upcoming lieutenant, “Not only a hero in times of war, but a hero in times of peace as well? That’s an impressive feat even for a man of your skill and caliber.”
Victor thanked the Grand Admiral for his kind words, as the crew went about their tasks unloading the ship of refugees, spoiled supplies and empty boxes of spent goods. Minor repairs were carried out as well, while the ship was back at a decent port.
“I’m confident it will be no problem at all to have you announced as my new second-in-command to the council. It’ll be challenging for them to deny the aid you’ve provided to the guild in the past year, and the great benefit you will be to the guild in the future. I’ll make sure to have the appropriate arrangements taken care of, so that we might announce you as the guild’s new lieutenant to the council by the end of the year.”
It did not appear that Victor would have any say in the matter. Then again, who would deny such an honour?

Queen Felicia of Mercia is ready to assist in the relocation of the refugees within the borders of Mercia, and already put research into building communities made from broken families.
