The Lord Protector of Tir Moreth hereby makes this decree in response to the unlawful attack on King Glendall by soldiers in service to a lord of Tir Moreth.
If Lord Laemïr of Tir Mor truly has raised an army and with this army attacked King Glendall of Camelot, a sworn ally of Tir Moreth, then by the word of the Eldest Council of Tir Moreth and the Lord and Lady Protector, let it be known that he is guilty of High Treason.
Because the Eldest Council and the Lord and Lady Protector ever desires an end to savagery and to promote peace, Lord Laemïr of Tir Moreth is granted clemency to appear before the Eldest Council in Tir Mor, under the purview of the Lord or Lady Protector, and there explain and defend his actions. To be granted this mercy, Lord Laemïr must immediately cease all military operations outside of Tir Mor and appear before the Eldest Council within a month and a day of this decree.
If Lord Laemïr does not appear before the Eldest Council, if he sends soldiers outside of Tir Mor, attacks a sworn ally of Tir Moreth or a vassal of such an ally, then he will be Banished. Him and his house will be stripped of all lands and noble privilege, they and any of their household that wishes to remain in their service, will have one month to leave Tir Moreth on pain of death and execution. All belongings, lands and vassals of his house will transfer to the office of the Lord and Lady Protector, to be redistributed at their will and to be used to pay recompense for crimes done.
If Lord Laemïr should choose not to accept the will of the Eldest Council and the Lord and Lady Protector, then the armies of Tir Moreth and Umbria shall descend upon him and his followers. The Northern Alliance will be fully invoked and all members of it called to make war upon Lord Laemïr as a lord in open, unlawful rebellion against his liege. His army shall be broken, his house be besieged and he shall risk whatever mercy he may find on the field of battle.
The Lord and Lady Protector hereby swears that proper recompense will be made to King Glendall of Camelot and reassures their allies that they stand by their responsibilities.
This is decreed by the Lady Protector Elamïra of Tir Moreth, by the authority of the Eldest Council, the Lord Protector and by the grace of Nature's Soft Embrace.
(OOC: This decree is made around WM 6, turn 13.)
