Tarathiel from Umbria can think of plenty of reasons why Bayard can't send a representative and shares them freely with whomever will listen (He's not shouting at the Bayard representative in the lobby, but sharing his opinion frequently and without undue concern about who might be listening).
"Considering what happened the last time the Mad King sent one of his mad dogs to a diplomatic meting, it seems safer to keep this being in the kenel than at sensitive diplomatic metings. If the creature is to be let in, against wiser council, i would suggest it at least be kept under close guard. I, for one, am rather fond of my ears."

OOC both lines of my previous post were OOC. OOC: You can always edit your post, in any case my post was less a reponse to you, than to the news of Bayard wishing entry, clearly he must be kept out for the safety of all ears and elven ears most of all.

** Sir Malvoisin, that everyone knows as well educated and calm during his long years of diplomacy in the South could not resist a scornful look and think that definitely the Camelott yard/cour prestige lost by letting these animals there ... **
