I'm envious of how many other people started with (or have been able to obtain). I despair of finding the GB for any action let alone a hire help action.

Apologies again for this past week. Intent was to reengage and get rolling on my days off. Unfortunately my wife got to get rather I'll and so we hung out at the ER and hospital through Monday. Follow that up with the Amazon server crash and my week has been destroyed. That said, I will get back into the game fully Saturday evening and catch up on all of NSEs outstanding correspondence. Again, truly sorry I have slowed matter down and will get my act together this weekend |

From what I read it almost literally comes down to someone making a typo in a list of servers to be shut down. Compare it to someone stating shutdown server '4 throughout 15' it became '4 throughout 150' and then the cloud died.
Imagine being that guy or girl. You'll be famous/infamous in the little circle of of your peers.

Huh. And yet, the only reason it's more serious than someone accidentally shifting the decimal point when making a financial transaction is because banks can reverse those. Numbers are scary.

In any case, terribly sorry that i have not replied this past week. See, i have been down with influenza, which has made thinking and concentrating on formulating a response very hard. I probably could have made short OOC messages, but it didn't occur to me in my haze, and i'm sorry for that.

Making a contribution to the thread again, I'll be able to reply the 25th (it's a holiday, and I'm staying home to game náh!). Started a new job today, it's very interesting but a lot of information to process and I have to study up a bit.
