Characters are created using D&D 5th edition rules.
We use the "Variant Customizing Ability Scores" option from page 13 of the phb to create attributes.
Various changes has been made to the races that would normally be found in Albion to suit the system and my taste in fantasy.
The races are as follows:
Human - Use the human stats if your race is a human sub race
Half Elf - Half Sidhe (elves in this setting are Sidhe)
Elf - Sidhe (elves in this setting are Sidhe)
Dwarf
Goblin (-2str +2dex -2 wis small size base speed 20)
Extra proficiencies added in the following can be purchased at the rate of 2 proficiencies per feat.(this is lower than standard 5th edition rules on purpose)
The following proficiency have an impact on battles conducted in this game:
Warfare - The ability to make battle plans and execute them skillfully whilst leading multiple units. The proficiency depend on different mental abilities in the different aspects of its use.
The following proficiencies have an impact on the domain level of this game, this bonus is available for all characters:
Religion - add proficiency to rule (temple) actions
Arcana - add proficiency to rule (source) actions
Profession (Administrate) - add proficiency to rule(province), Decree(Finances) and ply trade(administrate) actions
Profession (Law) - add proficiency to rule (law) actions
Deception - add proficiency to espionage actions
Performance - add proficiency to Agitate actions
Estate Management - add Proficiency to Ply Trade(Administrate) and Rule Holding(Manor) actions
The following backgrounds have an effect on the domain level of the game:
Acolyte - add Agitate to your list of bonus class actions

Hermit - may take 20 on bonus regent actions by forfeiting 2 normal regent actions.
Noble - add diplomacy as a bonus class action and gain the proficiency: Estate Management
Outlander - +2 DDC to diplomacy actions, but may choose 1 action and apply a bonus to all DAC of that action. The DAC bonus is equal to your proficiency. The choice can't be changed.
Sage - Choose one: Gain a DAC bonus to magic actions and a DDC modifier to non magic actions equal to your proficiency; or gain a DAC bonus to Advice and Research actions equal to your proficiency
Sailor - add +1 to naval combat resolution rolls when commanding the fleet.
Soldier - gain the proficiency: Warfare
Urchin - minus 1 to all domain actions. Add proficiency to any and all rolls made in an adventure. (Adventure bonus is only applicable if the character is a regent or lieutenant)
New feats available:
Attuned to Realm Magic - [Described in the realm magic rules here on the forum.]
Expertise - [Choose one of your proficiencies. For that proficiency add your proficiency bonus twice. This feat can be selected multiple times, but can only be applied to each proficiency once. A proficiency enhanced with this feat can't also be enhanced with the class feature Expertise.]
Skilled - This is the feat from the PHB, but remember that you may choose ONLY 2 proficiencies with this feat, NOT the normal 3!
Other notes
Add Profession(Law) to the paladin skill list.
A general with the feat Mounted combat grant a +1 DRM to pursuit after battles that he has lead and won.
Multi classing is not allowed unless you get dispensation from the GM.
