Yesterday my wife was put on life support as she is too weak to breathe on her own.
Thus I am distracted and slow in my replies.

Please, don't worry in the slightest about the speed of your replies. Focus on your family and your wife. At a time there is not really much anyone can say, so all I can and will is second Julien.

Thank you for your words of support
Diagnosis is in. I won't share it on the internet, but she will be hospitalized for quite some time.
The upside is that now there is actually a plan for her recovery:
She is still on life support but seem to be responding to treatment, so she should be able to breathe on her own once she have had a little time to recover. The doctors are hopeful that it will be sometime next week and that she can leave intensive care a couple of days after that.
They are also hopeful she will be able to return home in a couple of months, and then her treatments will continue on biweekly or monthly basis until she has reached full remission.
Then 4 checkups per year for the rest of her life to ensure that it doesn't show signs of manifesting again.
Thank God I live in a country where healthcare is free.
In conclusion: I will be less distracted by worrying, but still distracted from extra chores and time spent visiting the hospital. I also expect the distractions to be rather persistent.
