Hi Hartwig,
How much depth do you want us to go into in character gen? Full character generation or something less than that?
Presumably we get free regent actions from our class. Do we just use table 4-8 or are you going to make one for the 5th edition classes?
Thank you! -Mikkel F.

Great question.
Monk and Warlock are not available classes in this campaign.
Yes you gain access to a bonus regent action you can use each turn at NO base GB cost based on your regents class.
We use table 4-8. Please note that the noble class doesn't exist in this campaign, instead the Noble Background grants access to use Diplomacy as a free regent action. You can however still only use one bonus regent action per domain turn.
If you have found another player class not mentioned in that table, please tell.
I would like a full character generation, except spells prepared, items carried and the likes. (Full stat line, proficiency bonus and what skills you are proficient in is the crunch I need) If you want to take the easy way out, here is a simplified character generation that will also work out without nerfing your character too much:
Chose a class. chose two good and one bad attribute. The good will be 14, the bad will be 9 the rest will be 12. Choose a race, this will modify your attributes. If you choose human your two good attributes will get +1 and you get to select 3 extra skill proficiencies from the list. Choose a background Increase your two good attributes by 1, or choose 2 proficiencies if you are level 4 or above.

I presume we're using the variant human traits for all humans then?

I presume we're using the variant human traits for all humans then? You are allowed to choose the normal human +1 to all stats, and forgo the bonus feat if you like.

To add to this:
People with the books; is the information online sufficient for the purposes of creating the base characters?
I, unfortunately, have limited access to 5th Edition books in the Frozen North.

The information online and on this forum is enough.
But if still in doubt, when you've made a character please give him a little fluff text also that says "he is the most awesome sailor in the world" And I will poke you if I think you should have build him differently to make him a good sailor.
