This is Alex, the first player of King Oden. I started browsing again the forums from time to time, and would like to congratulate Linde for having run a full blown campaign - and also the players who have shaped a great story and the new DM.
I would like to raise a timid hand to joining again, but I confess being overwhelmed by the story and quirks thereof. I read in a discussion from a few days back that some sort of a story reset was considered. Is this something being entertained? Regardless of the answer, Birthrightalbion should be known as one of the great BR PBEMs from the last decade or so!
I'm overwhelmed by the story, too. I don't have any plans to start over, I don't think I'd be GMing if I expected the game to last ten more turns.
I think the easiest realm to join and play as would be Gawant. Not because it wouldn't be complicated, but because the ways in which it would be complicated would be the same general ways any dynastic feudal grand strategy game role is complicated, rather than anything uniquely quirky.

If you want to join the party and Gawant, I would be happy to welcome you as the best allies. I could even explain to you what in the past motivated our rapprochement and our great common ideas, and now our blood ties (marriage of Colwyn and Shelly princess of Bayard) If you want a summary of our conversations I can send them to you, free to do what you want in the future

Apologies for the slow return. Gawant is back as well. Many thanks to Nav for taking over. I am acting in a play this weekend so will be lax the nest few days but should be back up and running properly next week.
