Hi,
I'm unfortunatly leaving the game due to a compination of being busy at work and being bad at managing sprawling games like this one in a way where they don't consume all of my attention and become a source of stress instead of relaxation. I also feel that with Hibernia winding down this is a logical step of point and that I'm leaving my imaginary subjects in a respectable position. I regret not having been able to burn down Bayard and dance in the ashes, but Lothian ashes make a respectable dance floor as well and perhaps some other players will take over Umbria and provide your daily recomended dose of "Death to Bayard!"
I'll probably keep lurking once in a while, so I'll see you around the forum.
Happy new year and of cause Death to Bayard!

I get it, this game is so good it can easily consume more of your time than you may want. We'll miss your active play, but look forward to seeing you lurking around.
Best regards, Greg

I'm sorry to hear you've been relocated to the Orkney mushroom farms.
May you lurk often.

It can be difficult and surely it should not be a cause of stress. Your character posts will be missed though. If you want to play the outside advisor in the future sometimes, more than welcome!
Take care, Jeroen

SO I just handed in my DO, which will be my last one as Umbria. I'm dropping the game again. similar reasons to last time. If I do rejoin at some point it won't be as Umbria, but as another realm closer to the PC areas of the game, so I can have more PC interaction and less NPC ones.

Understood, but you will be missed. Perhaps our paths will converge again sometime in the future...
Best regards

i understand .... with the peace between our two realms, there is freeze of war ... i think Goddodin will be sure now ... if you come back ... come in my side ... we are the bests True NPC Umbria is less likely to do something effective against Goddodin though they're perhaps more likely to do somthing ineffective. The realm I am/was concidering is ET since they're more or less the only NPC realm in their area. Not sure if that counts as your side. I'm sure it could if you wnated to trade up from NT (elf lovers that they are)

Godfred saved James Holt's life against ET and chased ET from home ... AND is very involved with the allies of the elves ... NT is too involved with the Elves so he wants to be neutral or claim to be in this conflict ... it does not help Godfred, but as he has a bond of trust and friendship and few other choices of Guilder ... On the other hand a magician allied to hunt the elf could take with the support of Godfred the sources with him ..
if you knew how NT betrayed you

Me being Umbria? I pretty much always assumed that NT cared only for preserving their profit, pretending to each of us to be loyal to us, but in truth being loyal to either.
